Pivotal moments in our lives shape who we are by structuring our foundations and facades. Sometimes we build steps, other times we build walls. Layer by layer, row by row, each brick is placed as a memory, reminding us that we were taught something.
How to live. How to love. How to hurt. How to let go.
Each memory is a chapter in our story.
"Eleven Stories Down" is a narrative written from experiences in my life. I’ve lived, loved and been let down, but most importantly, I've learned that before you can feel alive you need to learn how to let your guard down. It is ok to open yourself up to criticism by building doorways in the walls that protect you. Being forced to be vulnerable is one thing. Welcoming it another and it is beautiful.
These stories are for you to interpret and make your own. Please enjoy.
